Fai loves Erasmus+

FAI sends around 100 students and staff members abroad yearly. We work closely with local companies in order to provide Erasmus trainees for them and to send company representatives abroad together with our staff. We have been hosting international exchange students in work placements at local companies for more than ten years. We take good care of all our guests. For teachers and professionals arriving from abroad, we tailor a variety of job shadowing programs. For our exchange students we offer affordable accommodation in our recently renovated dormitories. We organize cultural visits, training places and offer 24/7 service for our guests.

Our school participates to both KA1 mobility and KA2 Strategic partnership projects.

We provide vocational education and training in six different fields, preparing students for 18 different vocations (EQF level 4). For adults students we also provide further qualifications and specialist qualifications (EQF level 5), in the fields mentioned below.

We offer vocational education and training to both young and adult students in various forms, including regular daytime studies, blended learning, online teaching and apprenticeship training.

The scope of a vocational qualification is 180 ECTS. (approx. 2 to 3 years of studies)

Dormitory

Fai dormitory offers affordable and comfortable stay for incoming Erasmus students. Rooms are either double or single with own bathroom and mini kitchen. Each floor has two bigger kitchens for more advanced cooking. There is also a game room, laundry, sauna and gym.

Our dormitory has 46 places for students. In case the dormitory is full (yearly occupied from August to February), Hotel Maakunta offers rooms too. From this link you can see their alternatives.
